10th National Adult Learner Leadership Institute

  • Kellogg Conference Hotel 800 Florida Avenue Northeast Washington, DC, 20002 United States

The National Adult Learner Leadership Institute is an event held every two years that brings together over one hundred adult learners and literacy professionals from around the country to focus on adult learner leadership. In this event they share promising practices to expand and strengthen learner leadership through workshops so they can improve their literacy programs.

Every four years we host the event in Washington, DC to provide our participants the opportunity in meeting decision makers and important persons in the adult literacy field. Washington, D.C. is a perfect host city to meet with representatives from the Senate and the House of Representatives as well as having events in the Library of Congress. Important keynote speakers will be present and as tradition, we will have our Susan D. Green Memorial award dinner. Our event is scheduled for April 3-5, 2017 so save the date!
