VALUE has a number of projects for which it is seeking support.

• Develop an alternative model for adult basic education in the U.S. called for under the Social Change Initiative

• Conduct public awareness activities and coalition building for our Social Change Initiative

• Update VALUE's Leadership Training and include follow-up and evaluation components

• Help create an International Adult Learner Network in partnership with adult learner groups in other countries

• Research the impact of adult learner involvement on literacy program effectiveness

• Improve the database for our National Resource Center

• Compare adult learner involvement in states today with adult learner involvement in states in the year 2000

• Translate our Leadership Training manual into Spanish
